Sunday match off

No match for the Knights at Bishopston this weekend due to waterlogged pitches.

This Sunday the Ospreys are inviting all sides to attend the game against Leinster, k/o 4.00pm. All players are free, adults £10.00. Each side, dressed in club kit ,will do a lap of the stadium at half time and be presented with a bag of Gilbert balls. It should be a great social for the team, email lisa.fabb@btinternet.com me with ticket requirments.

The Knights have had to create a new Blog so the beach rugby can have the old one. We've had to cancel this Sundays game, and no training on Thursdays until after Feb Half term. So meet next Sunday 4th Nov at Bishopston 10am, please respond to teamer text when it's sent out so we know if we have enough of a team. Thanks

Gowerton Match

Well done Knights, another great match today against Gowerton. As Tom, Josh & Osain spotted we have to work on our- Running straight Passing backwards Clearly showing (shouting and hold the tag up) when we tag. So this Thursday we will definately have training at Underhill Car Park end at 6, no matter what the weather is like! It will givw us a chance to work on these points. At the moment we have no match next Sunday so it'll be training at 1030 Bishopston usual spot. Welcome William, Morgan & Callum well done on getting stuck in there today and playing a match straight away. Any evening post tokens please bring them to Thursday training.

Well done Knights what a fantastic game you played on Sunday. We had a great game with the Gorsienon U7's they were worthy oponants and were great hosts- thanks. Plan for match on Sunday we're home to Gowerton KO 1030am so can we meet at 1015 for a warm up. Then back to the club for Hot Dogs.

Sorry for the late posting of this information, but we have a match tomorrow at Gorsienon RFC (SA4 4AD)10.30 kick off so meet at 10.15 sharp! See you there and don't forget to bring any Evening Post kit tokens and PPLICtion forms if you have any.

This Sunday we haven't got a game so we are making the most of it and training at Bishopston playing fields, near the infants school.
On Thursday training will be at Underhill park at 6pm, we will be training on our own but might join the Dragons later for a kick around.
We will be collecting a weekly subs of £1 per week this will go towards Kit mainly but we might have a bit left over for Christmas party etc. I'll be taking details for Welsh Rugby Union membership on Thursday so make sure you see me.

1st match Knights v Dunvant
Thanks Dunvant U7's we had a great time playing our first match of the season. And luckily the boys remembered some stuff from last year. A special thanks to Nye's Dad, Mike who ref'd, without whom the game would never have happened.
We've managed to rope some dads in for coaching so the Knights will see another season through. Training will start next Thurs 630pm at Underhill park at the car park end, and again at Bishopston next Sunday morning 10am, but check blog in case there are changes.
There will be some paperwork to fill in on Thurs and we'll have to start paying subs about £45 a year.
Thanks boys, mums & dads for making the early start you were great!

Ok Knights, I'm hoping we can pull a team together for 10am Sunday the 9th Sept, Bishopston playing feilds, the top pitch (old hockey pitch). Give me a text if you can make it- 07866247436.

MUMBLES KNIGHTS U7's

Welcome back to a new season!
We have a match, KO 1030am Sunday, at Morriston SA6 6JS,we need at least 5 players, let me know if you can make it 07866247436, All new comers welcome!. Still no lead coach for the U7's but I'm happy to keep things ticking over for the next couple of weeks & others are happy to help.We can get together over the next month, see how many children we have and assess the situation. I'm sure the boys would prefer a few reluctant coaches than no coaches at all!

Well the weather may have beaten us last week for our last planned session but lets finish on a high this Sunday at 11 down Caswell Beach where we began the season!

This will be the last session of the season guys before we finish for the Summer.

The Season Finale

Hi Knights, Well this Sunday is our last session of the season and the club has booked pitches at Underhill Park for a number of the junior teams so we are going to have our final session there at the usual time of 11am. Unfortunately the planned BBQ isn't taking place am afraid. I'm trying to set up a match against the Dragons but if that doesn't happen then Mums & Dads bring your boots! ;-) May I just take this opportunity to thank Lisa & Andrew for their help this season and to thank you all for your amazing support for my first season as a coach. I have loved every minute of it and to see how our Knights have developed has been so incredibly rewarding. Thank you all so much! Dyl

Sunday 22nd April 2012

Hi Knights,

Well I hope everyone had a fab Easter break but it's time to get back training and burn off all that chocolate!

This Sunday 22nd April we're on Caswell Beach @ 11 and I've been advised by the club that there are only two sessions remaining until the end of the season.

Next week, Sunday 29th April, all the juniors are playing down Underhill Park in Mumbles for the last week before finishing for the season so I'm looking to attange a match against the Dragons but if not possible we'll have a training session down there and I believe a BBQ is also planned to so should be a fab end to the season and I hope we can all make it.

Training Holiday

Hi Knights,

It was great to see so many of you come back to the club on Sunday for the hotdogs and hope everyone enjoyed the session.

We are now having a 2 week break from training and will return on Sunday 22nd April, location tba.

Yes I know it's Mothers Day and yes I know we'll all probably be a little worse for wear after Wales win the Slam on Saturday but for those of us who just can't get enough rugby, training is ON this Sunday!

So I'll see the die-hards on the beach at 11 on Sunday!

Sunday 26th February

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say what a great session we had on Sunday!  We tried a few new exercises which seemed to go ok considering the great number of players we had and a big thank you for all the dads that helped out!

Was great to see two new faces, Rhodri and Tommy and that Gwenan returned to give the boys a run for their money. 

The skill sets are definately improving and we will continue to work on our defence, passing and catching in readiness for our next match.  Special mention to Sam Williamson for his chip & catch which was awesome!

Keep up the good work Knights and I'll see you on the beach on Sunday!

Training Sunday 26th February

Hi guys,

Well after a break last week for half-term you'll be delighted to learn that training is back on this Sunday at Bishopston school fields due to a clash with the tide.

Hopefully we'll all be there having celebrated a Welsh triple crown!  Apologies to my English players & parents but as long as we beat the English etc etc etc  Just kidding guys! ;-)
