Saturday 28th February

The tides are not favourable for us again on Saturday, so we will make the call to have a session down at Underhill at 9.30 this Saturday morning.

Hopefully we will be reliving the events of the previous night - a fine Welsh victory.

Who is Beach Rugby for?

The sessions are organised under Mumbles RFC junior section. Like most rugby clubs in the area, Mumbles runs teams from U7s upwards, playing at Underhill Park on Sunday mornings. As even younger children have often shown interest in starting rugby, and because the U7s and U8s teams are quite full, the beach sessions are aimed mainly at year 1 (5 to 6 year olds) girls and boys to give them a gentle introduction to the game before they move up to the more organised U7s and 8s sessions at the park next year. And it is a chance for fun and games on the beach!
