Mumbles Knights Under 7 Tag Rugby: Saturday 26th Jan

Beach rugby resumes next Saturday, Caswell Bay in front of the steps. Because of the tides, we'll be starting at 10:00 and aim to be finished by 10:45 at the latest.

Who is Beach Rugby for?

The sessions are organised under Mumbles RFC junior section. Like most rugby clubs in the area, Mumbles runs teams from U7s upwards, playing at Underhill Park on Sunday mornings. As even younger children have often shown interest in starting rugby, and because the U7s and U8s teams are quite full, the beach sessions are aimed mainly at year 1 (5 to 6 year olds) girls and boys to give them a gentle introduction to the game before they move up to the more organised U7s and 8s sessions at the park next year. And it is a chance for fun and games on the beach!
